Raw materials of fish meal production plant
The 24T/D fish meal plant uses rainbow trout and its waste as raw material. Rainbow trout is a fish with quite high fat and oil content. While we make fish meal from it, we can also sort out the oil, so that we can get more value.
In the process of making fish meal, we first crush the raw material to make it finer in size and easier to steam. This 5T/24h small compact fish meal plant, as the name implies, can process 5000kg of raw materials in 24 hours. And We can obtain about 1000kg-1200kg of finished fish meal. The fish meal yield is between 20% – 25%, and the oil yield is between 5% – 8% depending on the raw material.
Process flow of fish meal processing
- Crush the raw materials with crusher to refine the size of raw materials for steaming.
- To ensure the quality of subsequent product processing, we can use the cooking machine to cook, disinfect,and sterilize the crushed materials with high temperature.
- After high-temperature cooking, use the fish squeezing machine to further press and defat the cooked materials.
- Separate the pressed materials into solid and liquid. Then, the liquid will be passed through a three-phase centrifuge for oil-water separation, and water and oil can be obtained.
- Dry The solid and the solid powder obtained after pressing through the dryer, and then further crushed them. We can finally get the finished fish meal.
- In the drying process, it may produce exhaust gas. Use the cyclone dust collector and induced draft fan to deodorize and purify exhaust gases , and then discharge the exhaust gases into the air, so ao to protect the environment.
